Feature address at UWI Sports Talk

THE BREWSTER TRUST has been invited from The University of the West Indies for a feature address at the event “Sport at Cave Hill: The Way Forward”.
CEO Axel Bernhardt followed the invitation and presented “Sports – passion or profession?” at Lecture Theatre 4 on Wednesday March 16th 2011 with some insights into the charity’s mission and efforts but also with statements to visions and organisation in sports, youth development, leadership, role of a professional, becoming an ambassador and statistics as planning tool supplemented from a practical viewpoint.
The main part of the afternoon programme was the presentation “Our mission – your vision” of Amanda Reifer, Sport Promotion Coordinator at the Sport Academy Cave Hill, in which she informed the student athletes about the planned developments at the University of the West Indies for the several sport disciplines. Horton Dolphin, Head of the Sport Academy Cave Hill, added his remarks before Roland Butcher, Director of Sports at the Sport Academy Cave Hill, completed the event with his vote of thanks.
